Man charged in death of wife’s dog
A man has been charged with the murder of his wife’s pit bull, police said Friday.
A police spokeswoman said a relative was notified of the dog’s death early Friday morning.
The woman’s family was notified at 3 a.m.
Friday, according to police.
Police said the dog, named Bo, had been with the family for five years and was the “only member of the family who had a history of behavior problems.”
The woman and her husband had been together for four years.
Police identified the woman as the dog was killed.
The dog was found dead on Friday in a home in the 4200 block of West Lake Street, according the police department’s news release.
No arrests have been made.
