The ‘Flip Move’ House Moving Company’s CEO Calls Off Plans to Move the Houses in Your City
The house moving company, Dodson House Mover, is calling off plans to move the homes in your city.
The move is scheduled to be announced Thursday.
“The decision to cease operations at the end of June was made after the company received notice from the City of New Orleans that the proposed development in the area of our property would adversely impact the health, safety, and welfare of the residents of the City and would pose a substantial risk to their well-being,” a statement from Dodson said Thursday.
“Dodson will now be able to focus its resources and efforts on helping people of all ages, regardless of income, while preserving and improving the health and well-beings of the individuals living there.
The move was first reported by The New Orleans Advocate, which said the move will involve the demolition of two houses.
A spokesperson for Dodson confirmed the move to the Advocate but declined to comment further.
Dodston said the house move is expected to be completed by June 30, 2018.
