How the Nashville house move scheme is saving lives

A Nashville couple’s dream of moving into their old home and transforming it into a new home is just one of many plans to help keep them warm in a changing city.

“I’m just thrilled, I’m so excited,” said Ashley, who moved to the city from her home in Ottawa about a year ago.

“We’ve had a really good time with our new house and we’re really looking forward to living here.”

Ashley and her husband of a year, Chad, started a group called the Nashville House Move Scheme (NSHS) a few months ago and have been overwhelmed by the support.

“People are really open to the idea and are willing to give us their support,” said Chad.

“They’ve been really good about it and I’ve had so many people come up and say, ‘Hey, I love this and I want to help you out.'”

Ashley and Chad say the group has been a blessing to them.

“It’s made us feel really safe in our new home and also we’ve found the perfect place for our dog, so that’s been great,” Ashley said.

“There’s been so much love from people.”

It’s a good thing for Chad too, who is moving to Nashville from Ottawa.

“When I heard about the Nashville HOUSE MOVES I just couldn’t believe it,” he said.

The NSHS aims to provide financial support to anyone who wants to help move their home, renovate or buy it.

It also aims to keep the owners warm by encouraging people to sign up for winter gear and clothing.

“That’s just the best way to warm your family, your pets and yourself in a cold winter,” said Chris Balsillie, the group’s executive director.

“If you don’t get that kind of warm winter gear you’re not going to have a good chance of staying warm.

You’re not getting your family out and enjoying the winter months.”

The group also hopes to create an online registry for people to find homes for free or at a reduced rate.

The group is looking for people who are willing and able to help with the cost of moving, renovating or buying a home.

It is also looking for volunteers to help in its first phase of moving a home and renovating a house in Nashville.

“This is a huge initiative for Nashville,” said Balsillo.

“The city is doing something really big here and I think it’s going to be really helpful to Nashville and the people that live in Nashville.”

The NASHS is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that has already helped thousands of people.

It currently has five homes available in Nashville and one house is being renovated.

“Our biggest asset right now is that we have about a thousand people that have signed up for a home,” said Christopher.

“A lot of people are really looking for houses and it’s really helping us get them.”

It costs $1,000 to move your home.
