Goldfish house moves south of London, house move agreement in place
Goldfish’s house moves into its new home at the corner of Victoria and Regent Streets in London, Ont.
On Tuesday, the owners of the building that houses the popular pop-up restaurant said they have an agreement in motion to move the popular eatery to its new digs.
In a press release, the Goldfishs said they are moving into their new home on Victoria Street, which is located between Regent and Regensburg streets.
“We are looking forward to moving into our new home and welcoming our new friends back to the family,” said Julie Goldfish.
The Goldfish family started Goldfish at the Toronto location in 2016, and quickly expanded to other parts of the city.
A press release from the Golds said the restaurant is moving to a new space next month in Regent Park, with plans to open in 2019.
Julie Goldfish, who owns the Goldfishes restaurant, says her restaurant will move to a newer location next month.

Earlier this year, the property where the Gold Fishes was based had been used for public meetings for the new condo building, and the restaurant’s new owners say they are hoping to get the new space up and running in 2019, after renovations have been completed.
New owner Julie Goldficks told CBC News the new restaurant is looking forward for a “sustainable” and “fit for purpose” environment.
For Goldfish owner Julie Goldberg, the announcement that the restaurant will be moving to the new Regent Street location is great news.
“It means we can open a restaurant that can really get people out of their homes,” she said.
“The Regent Market is the best market in London and it’s a beautiful space and it is so convenient for us to be able to bring Goldfish to the Regent.”
Julie Goldberg said she hopes to have Goldfish back in its original location soon.

“We’ve got a lot of great things to look forward to with this place, we’ve got great plans and it just seems like the right time,” she told CBC.
Goldfish’s location has been the subject of many public meetings and discussions since it was opened in 2016.
At one point, the restaurant hosted a concert and sold out its first day.
