When is the house move-in deadline?
The House Move-In Deadline is Friday at 10am Pacific Time.
The House Move In deadline is Thursday at 10pm Pacific Time, and it is not expected to be a problem.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has said she will not have a date set for a House Floor vote on moving in a House member.
“As I said in my remarks on Friday, I do not plan on moving the House until the Senate has passed the budget and I can get to work on that,” she said.
“As we get to the end of this week, I’ll let you know what I have in mind.”
The House is set to be out of session next week, and Republicans have indicated that they will not hold the votes on bills that could delay the House’s move-out deadline, such as a health care overhaul.
Democrats have been pushing to move as soon as possible to avoid a shutdown, but there are no guarantees that the GOP will agree to a deal that keeps the government open past Friday.
House Democrats have suggested that the House could be forced to use the continuing resolution to force a government shutdown.
House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) on Thursday said that Republicans would have to negotiate over spending measures to avoid the shutdown.
“The budget talks will continue, and I expect the Democrats will continue to be able to make some deals,” he said.
