How House Move Pasadena moved its house to Pasadena
The house move of a Pasadena resident has moved from a property in suburban San Diego to a property located on the south side of the city.
The move comes as the Los Angeles Times reports that an eviction notice filed last week by the property’s current owner says the house has “no use whatsoever,” meaning it is not currently habitable and that the property owner “has no plans for it and has no desire to keep it.”
The house moved from the Westlake Terrace property to a different site on Thursday afternoon.
A property management firm that represents the property owners told the Los Angles Times that the owner and the house’s previous owner are “actively engaged in negotiations for the acquisition of the house and any future sale of the property.”
It’s unclear how long the owner will be able to keep the house.
If the owner is unable to sell the property or is unable or unwilling to take the property to auction, the property could be transferred to the Los Alamitos Historical Commission.
