How to find a home for yourself
The Irish Housing Authority (IHA) is now giving its home buyers a head start on finding a home, as it has set up a HomeBuyer App to help them find a suitable house for themselves.
The app was launched today with the aim of helping the elderly and disabled find homes for themselves by letting them search for properties in the city.
“This new app will enable anyone to find out where to move into a suitable new home,” IHA Director of Communications and Consumer Services Dr Paul Farrell said.
“It will also help families and seniors to find the best home for themselves in a fast-moving market.”
We will continue to encourage anyone who wants to buy a home in Glasgow to get in touch with us so we can help them as soon as possible.
“The app allows users to enter their home address and phone number and will give them the opportunity to start searching for a suitable property in the area.
This will help ease the process of finding a new home, while the IHA will help with rent payments, mortgage payments and the like.”
The app is now available to anyone who has an account with the ICA and is looking for a property in Glasgow,” Dr Farrell said, adding that this information will be shared with the public.”
If you have a valid credit card, it can be sent to the bank to confirm whether it is a valid card.
“The IHA is currently looking for about 300 properties across the city to provide housing assistance.”
“
This is why we are using the app.”
